The Spicy Meatball Report – April 25, 2014

From first to worst.

And, it’s all the talk today. Last nights’ game with Mike Carp (position player) coming in to pitch in the ninth inning vs the Yankees, in the top 5 of my least favorite Red Sox games. However, I rate it as one of my favorite Red Sox games, most interesting to experience.

It made for entertainingly dramatic moments with Carp, showing off a pretty cool knuckleball, loading the bases with Ellsbury coming up – of course. Carp walked in a run and even threw some back stop wildness.

The team is rock bottom, like a fishing line and lure wrapped around an old log , a bunch of rocks and years of tangled tackle in the old lake. Or are they? Have they hit it?

Today it’s easy to imagine looking over at your co-worker’s Red Sox Nation flag, flying limply at half-mast.
