The view from Section 207. Miami Marlins at bat against the Boston Red Sox. Roger Dean Stadium Tues. 3/24/15. Gametime 1:05pm, from Jupiter Florida.
Back from Jupiter. As I was driving home from Union Station in Los Angeles, post evening flight in from Ft. Lauderdale, I caught the MLB Radio show on SiriusXM CH. 209, that was taped earlier that day in Jupiter. Nice to hear it, while still experiencing a spring training afterglow.
I didn’t go to Ft. Meyers to see the Red Sox, but I did attend the sold out Miami (home team) vs Boston afternoon game at cozy Roger Dean Stadium.
My mom says in the past that it’s been standing room only for Red Sox
games in Jupiter…not anymore.
The Marlins complained last year because the Red Sox only brought over
2 all star players to Jupiter. Tuesday the Sox brought the MINIMUM 4
star players. ha.
Local fave Jarrod Saltalamachia gets nice applause. (He’s from
Wellington/ West Palm Beach)
Dee Gordon, now with the Marlins, did not play in the game, God Dammmnit, but I did see Hanley Ramirez in his left field role for the Sox. Two of my favorite former Los Angeles Dodgers.
Random thoughts; Giancarlo Stanton is a big boy.
Hope the Dodgers sign Jose Abreu.
They’ll be selling Cuban sandwiches before you know it at Chavez Ravine!!!!
They should call it “Mama Puig’s Cuban Sandwiches” !!
P.S. New stadium coming to West Palm Beach for Nationals and Astros.
